I know it’s been a while since my last post so there is a lot to recap. I went on a second hike (which was a mistake again). A group of us went to a nearby village to a hike called Creux du Van. Again the group split up with some racing through the hike while a small group of us took our time. Eventually we made it back safely but not before I had some serious knee pains. We ended up hiking a total of 9 miles. I’m still currently dealing with some hip and knee pains on and off.

I started classes last week which was kind stressful. But on the bright side I’ve made a lot of close friends here through university. On Friday the student group called Erasmus met up for a wine tasting and to relax which was nice. Afterwards a group of us walked to the festival the town was holding called Fête des Vendanges. Which is a huge festival where they close the whole main city down. They had multiple dj stages and every food vendor you could think of. I ended up going all three nights of the festival. 😴

There was a small farm on part of the hike. The biggest cow I’ve ever seen lol

    Hi Avery,

We are really loving your photos. It is so beautiful where you are from the cobblestone streets to the mountains and lakes. Looks like you are making lots of new friends and settling into your new country. I really did love the picture of the cow…it’s the biggest one I’ve ever seen, too.

Take care and enjoy everything. 😊

    Safe travels,

    Aunt Christy
